This typographic poster was created as a school project for the "One of a Kind" show in Toronto. My goal was to convey a Christmas vibe purely through colour and typography, without relying on imagery.
A bold red and green colour palette was chosen to capture the warmth and festivity of the holiday season, while the checkerboard grid layout gives the design a structured yet dynamic feel. The typography is arranged within a systematic grid system, with each word carefully placed to create visual rhythm and balance across the composition.
Through feedback from my classmates and professor, I refined the layout and hierarchy to achieve a clean yet lively result that celebrates both the spirit of the season and the uniqueness of the show.
